The new Challenger C300 Sim at CAE Amsterdam

These are the first images of the Challenger C300 simulator at the CAE Center in Hoofddorp (Schiphol Airport), Netherlands. Like all first images, some are a bit blurry, but that is how first images should be.

The outside of this sim looks as if a shuttle craft from Battlestar Galactica has just landed. The square boxes of the other sims look boring and ugly next to it. And that is just the outside.
On the inside it has an entry room that could qualify as a lobby. Plenty of room for four people to move around, take of coats and hang them in the wardrobe area. It almost looks as if this machine is bigger on the inside than it is on the outside. Is it the Tardis with turbines?

Operation:
The instructor station speaks for itself. Touchscreen controls, a very comfortable instructor’s seat and plenty of room for an observer’s seat. LED lights everywhere.
It is so easy to fly it’s just amazing. The flight deck is refreshingly uncomplicated and advanced.

It’s fast, it’s beautiful, I want one in my license.
